What were the goals musically?

I wanted smoothness, silkiness and harmony I had heard in some of the best tube designs.

Maximum space, air and soundstage depth and width, should be paired with stunningly fast attack response.

I wanted pace, timing, swing and dynamics that would not leave anyone untouched. I wanted an open and natural sound with a full body.
